The Introduction to Psychology aims at looking at the very inception of Psychology, first briefly as a part of Philosophy and then later it's divergence into becoming an individual Science. We will also be looking at the formal definition of 'Psychology' as well as how we stumbled on this specific definition. Apart from this, the Social Applications of Psychology is an important component from the UPSC's point of view.
