Civil Services Aptitude Test is an important part of the Civil Services Examination. In the PT Examination, 80 MCQs are being asked, each carrying 2.5 marks, with negative marking (1/3). Its duration is 2 hours. Till 2014, its marks were added  and was a part of the competitive papers for qualifying in PT. Due to protests from some students, from 2015  it has become qualifying; i.e; students has to secure 66 marks. It comprises almost 40 questions  from comprehension and 20 each from Maths and Reasoning.
